We spoke with style icon and forever Faithfull Girl, Lucy Williams to break down her top styling tips, her latest dreamy vacation to Palm Heights, Cayman Islands and the summer plans she has on the horizon.
It was so fun to get away with my friend Emma who lives in New York. Only 3 hours from NYC, we wanted somewhere with tropical sun and a fun atmosphere to get dressed up for dinner and that’s exactly what we found.
We had 4 days and basically found paradise in our hotel Palm Heights and essentially lazed around, walked up and down 7 mile beach and ate delicious Japanese food and pina coladas at the Tillies and The Coconut Club. We had an amazing morning going swimming on horseback with Paradise Ponies which was really fun.
A simple black bikini (to balance out all the colour!), multiple bucket hats and straw boaters, good SPF (I’m never without factor 50 on my face, my Contax T2 and 35mm film, lots of good books and my AirPods. I’ve also got a pair of Jacquemus flip flops that I wear with everything and anything and essentially don’t know how to get dressed without on holiday now!
Don't overthink it. Throw on what makes you feel good! I love how lots of the Islas collection feels a bit nostalgic and played around mismatching the bikinis and clashing colours together.
Don't be scared and go with your gut. Let the clashing be the statement in itself so keep logos and labels to a minimum and ground an outfit with oversized neutral pieces and staples like straw hats, bags and plain linen pieces.
Some amazing shell-printed vintage jeans I found in a thrift store in New York. They fit perfectly which never happens with vintage and feel very 90s Donatella.
I’m getting married in Greece early this summer so that’s our main point of excitement right now. I’m excited to introduce our family and close friends to our favourite island and spend more time there myself. We’re then going to Antiparos for a quick honeymoon. Greece is one of my favourite places in the world so it’s all going to be very special to us.
