“Where to go:”

I have been living in Lisbon for the past two years so luckily I was able to travel around the country. I’m obsessed with the countryside, Douro Valley and its beautiful vineyards, the Algarve beaches and the nature in the south.

“What to do:”

I love visiting the vineyards and wine tasting in the north, beach hopping and taking picnics in the south. There are also beautiful artisanal pottery factories in the Algarve where you see the Portuguese craft-women in action. I bought my mother a beautiful plant holder there and tiny egg holders for myself.

“What to eat:”

“Cantiflas" Restaurant in the Douro area is this perfect local restaurant with the most delicious food. NOT fancy, Authentic and local. In Algarve, for seafood and wine, we went to “Casa da Igerja” - translation to house of church. It's the cutest place right next to a church in a fishermen village in Tavira. The Menu only has few dishes and each one of them is simple and wonderful.

“What to wear:”

Faithfull dresses. It's literally the perfect vacation essential.

“Where to stay: ”

All around Portugal there are “Quintas”. These are basically farm houses\ bed breakfasts that have the most authentic and homey experience while travelling. They are usually old and beautiful Estates from different centuries that continue to be family owned and ran. Overall, the people in Portugal are some of the nicest you will ever meet, I love this country.
