“My husband and I work on creating content for brands through photography and film”
"Hi! My name Is Dixie and I'm a mom of two living in Honolulu Hawaii. We have an Aussie style cafe and a great community here. My husband and I work on creating content for brands through photography and film as well. On my spare time I surf with my kids or do pottery in my home studio."
“What's so special is that any profit from the cabins goes directly back to conservation and protecting native Hawaiian ecology.”
"Like many, who are finding sliver linings and vacationing in their own regions, we had the most breath taking stay at the Ossipoff Cabin. It sits atop Palehua mountains on the west side of our island. The cabin was originally built by well known Hawaii architect Vladimir Ossipoff who spent a lot of time in Japan before calling Hawaii home. This was his holiday home away from the city. Waking up to a pour over above the clouds was the most unique experience. Although the cabin has been restored, the original charm very much remains. What's so special is that any profit from the cabins goes directly back to conservation and protecting native Hawaiian ecology. It's a very mindful and unique stay."
“What to do:”
"Slow down, read, pick up all the original ceramics, hike, breath in and out."
“What to wear:”
"It can get a bit chilly so it's nice to bring some warm clothing. I loved lazing around in my robe..."
“What to see:”
"You are above the clouds there and there is so much to take in... Theres an ocean view but surrounded with greenery and sounds of birds. My kids and I played "Eye Spy" over and over again."
“Where to eat: ”
"Apparently Ossipoff really enjoyed his happy hours there and I can see why. Too many nice wine zones to count. There's a built in coffee grinder on the wall so bring coffee beans. You will bring all your food up there and highly suggest a nice soup or fondue! I believe the cabin might be setting up some arrangements for a small curated mini bar but the kitchen is super functional and once you are there you will not want to leave."
