“Where and when did you discover your talent and love of art?”

"I have always loved art and was lucky enough to grow up around it. My mum instilled in me an appreciation of art from a very young age, taking me to gallery openings, museums and art fairs. Whilst my sisters showed me art as a form of expression. Together we would paint and draw for hours, listening to blues and flicking through books coloured with abstract expressionism and surrealism. Art is a big part of my family."

“Tell us about your latest series and the artistic process from concept to print.”

"My latest print series, ‘Here and there’ was born out of thousands of sketches. Like many last year, I felt incredibly far away from my family in Australia and yet surprisingly grounded here in London. This collection explores that tension between loving where you are whilst longing to be somewhere else, and trying to fill the space in between. Each piece captures a moment of vulnerability, offering an intimate reflection on love in all its forms."

“Where do you seek inspiration?”

"I find inspiration in intimate, everyday moments - interactions with my fiancé, conversations with my closest friends, in the streets of Notting Hill, under the trees of Holland Park. Then I’ll find myself listening to music and podcasts that tease out that inspiration further, giving me the words to articulate what I’m feeling."

“When you think of FAITHFULL THE BRAND, what comes to mind?”

"When I think of Faithfull, I think of long summer days in Bondi… Picnics on the grassy knoll as the sun sets and hits the water with dreamy streaks of lilac."

“Your motto for 2021 is:”

"Every year I give myself a word and this year it’s balance. Balance, for me, starts with setting boundaries with work and my phone, and carving out more space for the many other things I value (like sleep, reading in the park and sketching with my niece)."
