“Where to stay”

Staying at Villa Anouk really felt like a dream. We were absolutely mesmerized by Anouk’s amazing taste in terms of decoration, and obviously charmed by her boundless kindness and warm welcoming. We felt at home during our entire stay thanks to a perfect service by the team, every minute of the day, trying their best to make our dream come true and our stay as perfect as possible. Every part of the villa was beyond compare. We had the pleasure to discover a dreamy room decorated with fresh flowers everywhere, large bath framed with delicate linen curtains, juicy fruits and cocktail for our arrival. Not talking about the amazing sunbathed terrasse where we were happy to have traditional Maroc breakfast every morning. And most of all; the breathtaking pool. No words to describe how beautiful it was. By day or by night, a completely different atmosphere, but each moment of the day, we were amazed by this place.

“Where to eat”

Triskala: probably the best place in town to find a way between healthy and traditional moroccan food. The director of the restaurant, a very kind French guy, welcomed us in the most warm way. The atmosphere was so nice, the food very tasty, and it was quite convivial and funny to eat on pillows.

L’heure bleue: this beautiful luxury hotel at the heart of the Medina is classified by the famous hotels chains Relais Châteaux and there is no wonder why : we had an amazing time sunbathing by the pool on their beautiful rooftop all decorated with shades of blue and enjoyed grilled fish and calamar right after that.

Villa Anouk: for our last night, we decided to have diner at the villa, to enjoy it one last time : we had an amazing traditional chicken couscous to share and delicious artisanal ice cream flavored with famous marocain pastries from Marrakesh

“Where to have a drink”

Salut Maroc: we are so thankful anouk told us about this place, because I honestly wouldn’t have noticed it in the street at first pipe. Salut Maroc offers a beautiful colorful and unexpected decoration with a breathtaking sea view

Océan vagabond: Just after noon, we decided to have a hot mint tea right in front of the sea side right before a nice walk on the beach

“What to see”

Sunset on the port

Fish market

Elizir: Most funny, unexpected and atypical place of Essaouira. Alibaba’s cavern in real life. Going from old film photographies to old traditional Maroc dress passing through beautiful vintage mirror. Elixir ... felt like a museum more than a boutique. A must to see in town.
