Considered & Certified Materials

FAITHFULL uses certified fabrications and chooses fibers with lower environmental impact. Our materials include:

  • LINEN EUROPEAN FLAX® OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 CERTIFIED

    Retted in the flax fields of Europe with its unique climate and mineral-rich soil, specifically Normandy, France, this form of linen is spun into yarn and woven into a high quality fabrication. Its certification assures the process is ethically produced and is one of our signature fabrications.

  • BCI CERTIFIED COTTON OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 CERTIFIED

    Organic cotton forgoes conventional production methods and synthetic fertilisers for natural alternatives, allowing for reduced water wastage and greenhouse gas emissions and healthier working conditions. A signature fabrication for our brand.

  • RAYON LENZINGTM ECOVEROTM OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 CERTIFIED

    A viscose rayon fabrication repurposed from wood pulp, sourced from sustainably managed forests. A beloved fabrication for our dresses, its certification ensures it has been tested against harmful chemicals and is certified for biodegradability.

  • SILK CREPE OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 CERTIFIED

    An occasionwear fabrication produced by weaving tightly twisted yarns, followed by a finishing process to set the crinkled feel. Certified through rigorous testing, it is free from chemicals, pesticides and allergens.

  • ECONYL® REGENERATED NYLON

    This recycled nylon fabrication repurposes abandoned fishing nets and nylon waste from landfill and oceans worldwide and is paired with elastane for our swimwear.

  • GRS (GLOBAL RECYCLED STANDARD) POLYESTER

    This polyester fabrication, certified by the GRS, is at least 50%

    recycled with traceable materials and manufactured in a sustainable

    and ethical environment. A fabrication we use for our linings.

  • OEKO-TEX® 100 CERTIFIED

    Every component has been tested for harmful substances.

  • ECONYL® NYLON

    We are proud to use ECONYL® regenerated nylon for our printed swimwear. 100% regenerated nylon is made from abandoned fishing nets and nylon waste from landfills and oceans around the world.

    78% ECONYL® Polyamide (Recycled) 22% Elastane

  • REPREVE® POLYESTER LINING

    As lining makes up 50% of swimwear fabric consumption, our linings are also made from recycled material, specifically regenerated nylon created from post consumer waste.

    90% REPREVE® Recycled Polyester 10% Elastane

    Our fees are based on the difficulty and intricacy of each style. The objective of this is to guarantee high production standards and encourage consistency, all while supporting and protecting our makers.

  • RESTRICTED SUBSTANCES LIST (RSL)

    A Restricted Substances List (RSL) is adhered to during design and all production processes.

  • MORE RESPONSIBLE PACKAGING

    Packaging is always going to add extra impact, but we want FAITHFULL's to be as minimal as possible, which is why the polybags we use for apparel protection are made from cassava starch (also known as tapioca) and are completely biodegradable.

    For eCommerce mailers, FAITHFULL chooses to use POLLAST!C™ Mailers made from 100% recycled Ocean Bound Plastic pollution.
