JOURNAL
Step inside the camera roll of our campaign stylist Rebecca Bonavia as she also shares inspiration on summer styling and sourcing vintage treasures.
I was drawn to the effortless romance of a Mediterranean summer - something that felt lived-in rather than overly polished. I looked at vintage European holiday photography, artists' retreats along the Costa Brava, and the ease of dressing that comes with spending long days by the sea. With a strong reference from Salvador Dali in Cadaques the styling was about creating an edit that felt timeless and collected yet still played with colour and exploration.
We looked to vintage accessories, natural textures and thoughtful layering to give each look depth without taking away from the collection itself. Woven bags, simple leather sandals, understated jewellery and the occasional scarf or oversized shirt helped create that relaxed holiday feeling. Everything was styled with a sense of ease, allowing the silhouettes and prints to remain the focus.
I always gravitate towards versatile pieces that can be worn in multiple ways, so getting dressed feels intuitive rather than overthought. I tend to overpack on the accessories as this is where you can have fun and play between looks.
Soft sun-faded colour palettes, lightweight natural fabrics and relaxed silhouettes. There's something so appealing about pieces that feel effortless but still considered - easy separates, well sourced accessories and textures that become even more beautiful with wear.
Keeping the foundation the same and simply changing the styling. A swimsuit becomes a top under a linen skirt, sandals are swapped for a refined heel, and a few pieces of jewellery instantly elevate the look. Adding a lightweight knit over the shoulders for cooler evenings gives the outfit a more polished feel while still maintaining that relaxed vacation sensibility.
