A Weekend In Copenhagen With Laura Julie
If you’re looking to spend a long summer weekend in Copenhagen, find inspiration in the morning rituals and afternoon delights recommended by Scandinavian local and beloved #FAITHFULLGirl Laura Julie. Below, she shares her guide to the perfect day to night itinerary – complete with the best black coffee and vintage treasure troves.

The perfect morning begins with…
Picking up a morning black filter coffee with my boyfriend and our puppy Oda from Lokal. If we feel like stopping in somewhere for breakfast we’ll pop into Et Cetera. There is also a nearby florist, Tableau, where I might collect some fresh blooms for our home.
A slow afternoon is best spent…
Soaking up the golden light in either the Bibliotekshaven or Søndermarke gardens – I might go for a long run or bring my book to relax. If the weather permits, it’s always nice to go for a summer swim in the ocean.
The best vintage stores are…
Bintagged, OSV Secondhand Store and the weekend flea markets at Lundebakken 1 in Copenhagen's North West neighborhood. But you can also stroll around the city and come across quite a few secondhand stores and curated boutiques.

Spend an aperitivo hour at…
Ved Stranden 10, Lille Blå, Rosforth & Rosforth or Riga. This is where I love to catch up with friends over a glass of wine and enjoy what’s left of the summer light.
Finish the evening with dinner at…
Baka d’ Busk, Bar La Una or Aurens Deli and then a final drink at Bird. If we feel like staying in instead, we will have picked up some fresh greens from Grønne Bønner and invite some friends over for an easy seasonal dinner.

My weekend uniform looks like…
Flip-flops, loose jeans and an oversized shirt with my bikini underneath. Or an easy dress with kitten heels for the evening. Always sunglasses, simple jewelry and an oversized handbag packed with a towel, book, lip gloss and sweater.
